GRi Simulations has been awarded a contract from the Government of Canada’s Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP). The contract has been awarded for GRi’s ROV small vehicle simulator.
GRi Simulations is featured in a new video produced by OceansAdvance, a Newfoundland and Labrador Ocean Technology cluster dedicated to the promotion of ocean and marine-based technology. The video underscores the importance of the Newfoundland and Labrador cluster to the goals and vision of GRi Simulations. The video, featuring GRi President Russell Pelley, highlights some of the features that make GRi unique in the area of ROV simulation training, including the simulation’s unique tether management capabilities. Also highlighted in the video is the strategic advantage of GRi’s location in Newfoundland, being a halfway point between GRi’s important markets in Houston and Europe. Please see this link for the video.
GRi Simulations is the recipient of a $500,000 repayable contribution from the Government of Canada. The investment, announced on July 20th, 2015 by the Honourable Rob Moore of ACOA, will further enable GRi to develop its industry leading simulation and visualization technologies.
